The Aperol Spritz.
Having originated in Italy, the Aperol Spritz cocktail is best consumed before dinner. It is a refreshing choice of drink and boasts of easygoing alcohol content.
Ingredients
(Recipe yields 2 servings)
- 6 ounces (0.18 l) of Aperol
- 6 ounces (0.18 l) of dry Prosecco
- Ice, as needed
- 2 ounces (ca. 59 ml) of club soda
- 2 orange slices for garnish
Directions
Step 1: Aperol Spritz cocktail is generally served in a wine glass. Fill a wine glass of your choice with ice.
Step 2: Pour in the Aperol as per the serving size.
Step 3: Pour in the dry Prosecco. Aperol and dry Prosecco must be added in equal amounts for each serving.
Step 4: Top the drink off with the club soda. Alternately, you can use unflavored sparkling water.
Step 5: Garnish with a slice of orange and enjoy your drink!
