Bloody Mary cocktail is one of the most popular cocktails in the world. It was invented by the French bartender Fernand Petiot in late 1921. Fernand used to work in a bar called the New York in Paris, and that used to be the bar where all the American migrants used to gather.

Bloody Mary is made with Vodka as its main ingredient, together with tomato juice and other flavouring sauces, herbs, salt, black pepper, lemon juice and so on… 

Let’s learn how to make an easy, quick and delicious Bloody Mary.


Bloody Mary is a legend consisting of a ghost, phantom, or spirit conjured to reveal the future – That’s what the name of the cocktail was inspired by.
  • 50 ml of Vodka
  • 150 ml Tomato Juice
  • 10 ml Lemon Juice
  • 5 Drops of Hot Sauce
  • 10 ml Worcester Sauce
  • 1 Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1 Pinch of Garlic Sauce
  • 1 Pinch os Salt
  • 1 Lemon Slice
  • 1 Celery Stick
  • Ice cubes


  1. The first step is to stir all the ingredients into a tube glass, starting with the sauces and the juices. 
  2. When you have all the ingredients together in your glass, you add some of the ice and you mix with a spoon for nearly a minute till you see that the glass started to chill.
  3. You add the rest of the ice till you get your glass full of ice.
  4. Add some more of tomato juice.
  5. Garnish with the lemon slice and the celery stick.
