Ingredients:
Peeled and quartered baking potatoes (2 pounds)
Butter (2 tablespoons)
Milk (1 cup)
Pepper and salt as per taste
Method:
Step 1
Put salt and water in a pot and bring it to a boil. Then add potatoes. Cook the potatoes until they become soft, but they should also remain a bit firm. Cooking for 15 minutes will be enough. Then, cool down the pot and drain the water.
Step 2
Take a small saucepan and heat milk and butter over low heat. Melt the butter perfectly. Use an electric beater or a potato masher and blend the potatoes into the milk perfectly. The mixture should be creamy and smooth. Season the dish with salt and pepper as per your taste.
