Daiquiri is a Cuban cocktail that was invented by an American mining engineer named Jennings Cox who was in Cuba at the time of the Spanish–American War and since then, Daiquiri has become a famous posh drink.
Daiquiri is a cocktail made with Rum as its main ingredient, citrus juice, and sugar or any kind of sweetener. Nowadays we can find different varieties of Daiquiris.
Let’s learn how to make a delicious Classic Daiquiri:
Ingredients:
- 50 ml Premium white Rum
- 20 ml Fresh Lime juice
- 15 ml Sugar syrup
- Ice cubes
The use of fresh Lime juice gives the cocktail a very fresh and nice flavour...
Preparation:
- Add all ingredients to a shaker, then fill with ice.
- Shake it a bit, and strain.
- Garnish with a lime wedge.
- Enjoy your Daiquiri.
Keep in mind that the Daiquiri should be made with white Rum, and for a better result, make sure you choose a very good brand, as some brands lose the unique and the good flavour of the Rum when it’s bleached, and for this reason, you need to choose a Premium Rom brand because a good white Rum should have its fresh and tropical aromas.
