Recipe of Pink Grapefruit Margaritas
The ingredients that are essential to this drink are extremely easy to find in the market. However, you must ensure the quality that cannot be compromised with. Especially, once you have put down your finger on the tequila, and the Grapefruit from your supplier or vendor.
Ingredients:
1. 1 whole medium sized lime, sliced into 1/2 inch wedges, (optional)
2. Some Kosher salt as per taste, (optional)
3. 250 ml of ruby red grapefruit juice
4.Four limes’ freshly squeezed juice
5. 250 ml of any kind of orange liqueur, you can take a Triple Sec or something else.
6. 500 ml / approx (2 cups) of ice
7. 250 ml of white tequila
Preparation:
1. Personalise/ customise your cocktail glass to suit your idea of the perfect cocktail drink by layer the glass with some salt or sugar in case you like it sweet. Don’t forget to strobe some lime around the glass’ edges before dipping it into kosher salt or sugar. Keep it aside and let it sit and set on the glass rim.
2.Now, add the grapefruit juice, lime juice, and orange liqueur together, you might as well put in some orange juice/zest to enhance the tangy and fruity flavour (optional). Then, add it to the ice, and churn the complete mixture in a good blender until it gets nice & smooth.
3. Now, pour the freshly made, refreshing drink into a large, preferably transparent pitcher and stir in the tequila to give the final touch.
4. Please note that if you serve the margaritas in a pitcher, do add an extra pinch or sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of salt in it. This will surely give you the exact amount of extra punch needed!
5. Serve it in the pre prepped glasses, and start sipping! Cheers!
