How to Make Pomegranate Mimosas?
Pomegranate mimosas are beautiful and a vivid red color. They are also perfect for any time of year and are the ultimate in bubbly drinks. The tart sweetness of pomegranates and champagne combine well for a refreshing drink. Consider making this for Christmas especially if you are the host, or in any summer party.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz. or 2tbsp. pomegranate juice (fresh or bottled)
- 4 oz. or ½ cup of sparkling wine (champagne, prosecco or other)
- Rosemary sprigs
- 1 oz. or 2 tbsp. of Aperol or orange juice – optional
- Orange slices

Mixing the Cocktail:
- Ensure that the ingredients are chilled in advance.
- Add pomegranate juice and aperol/orange juice to a champagne flute.
- Tilt the flute slightly and pour in the chilled sparkling wine slowly.
- Garnish with an orange slice or rosemary.
- Don’t add ice to this cocktail as it dilutes the drink and alters the balance in the sparkling wine.
- Serve cold.
Pomegranate mimosas can be made in large quantities or individually. Tweak ingredients to suit individual tastes. For a more adventurous palate, try using apple cider or cranberry juice. Mimosa cocktails are easy to make and experiment with.
