Who doesn’t love pancakes? It’s a great food item that you can eat whenever you like. The simplicity of its batter provides a perfect opportunity to experiment with different flavours and ingredients. You can either make them super healthy for your kids or something that you will enjoy on your cheat. Possibilities are immense and only limited by your imaginations. Let’s talk about a recipe that is simple to prepare and healthy to eat.
- Plain flour
- Baking powder
- salmon cut in small pieces or anything else you like (Ham, Chorizo, Caviar, Chiken etc)
- Spring Onions
- Cheddar cheese
- Golden syrup
Step 1: Fry the chicken pieces. Once cooked, keep them aside.
Step 2: Make the pancake batter by whisking flour, eggs, baking powder, and milk in a large bowl. Add a pinch of salt to it and some chopped spring onion to it.
Step 3: Heat a pancake pan until it’s hot. Pour some oil on it and swirl it around until it covers the entire surface of the pan. Take a spoonful of pancake batter and spread it nice and even on the pan. Cook for 30 seconds and then sprinkle some fried chicken pieces and cheddar cheese on top of it. Turn the pancake over and cook for about a minute. Once cooked, remove the pancake and repeat the process few more times.
Step 4: Once you have enough pancakes, stack them up and sprinkle some bacon on top of them. You can put some between the layers of pancakes.
Step 5: Put golden syrup on the top right before serving.
