The $2,300 Burger by Chef Diego Builk

The Dutch Chef Diego created one of the world’s most expensive burgers covered in 24k gold. For the first time in South of Houston restaurant in The Hague on Burger Day, this luxury burger has been created.

The meaty masterpiece consists of Japanese dry-aged Wagyu beef, Oosterschelde lobster (infused with Hermit Dutch Coastal gin), foie gras, white truffles, Remeker cheese, Iberian ham, French lettuce, Japanese fruit tomatoes, and caviar.

The burger is confirmed as the world’s priciest by Guinness World Records.

The brioche bun alone costs $135, as it is made with saffron and coated in 24 karat gold leaf.

Its sauce is made with lobster, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, Madagascar vanilla, saffron and Japanese soybeans. Finally, the brioche bun is covered in 24-carat gold leaf.
