Chicken wings are a great starter for any party. Hosting a Super Bowl party at home or a get-together? Here is the perfect recipe to make all your guests happy, while serving them a healthy version of chicken wings.

Ingredients List

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 2 lbs. chicken wings, cleaned and ready for use
  • Kosher salt
  • 4 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • ½ cup hot sauce of your choice
  • Dipping sauce – Ranch dressing or alternative

Step By Step Instructions

  1. Spray the air fryer’s wire basket with the cooking spray.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels thoroughly and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Put the wings one by one in the basket. Make sure to leave some space between each wing.
  4. Close the lid and set the air fryer’s temperature to 360°F, and let the wings cook for 12 minutes. Flip them and let them cook for another 12 minutes.
  5. Turn the wings again. Turn up air fryer heat to 390°F so that each wing is crispy. This will take 6 minutes.
  6. Warm the butter in a small skillet and whisk in the hot sauce.
  7. Put the cooked wings in a bowl and add the hot sauce.
  8. Serve with the dipping sauce.

Benefits Of Using Air Fryer

Air frying is healthier than frying in oil. It cuts calories by 60% to 80% and has a lot less fat. This cooking method might also cut down on some of the other harmful effects of oil frying and deep frying. Using very little oil is the perfect way to replace deep fried foods that aren’t very healthy with a healthier alternative. If you want to make your dishes even much healthier, you can replace the conventional oil used for frying by an extra virgin olive oil.
